The inZOI team has released Hotfix v0.5.2, focused on improving overall game stability and resolving several gameplay, CAZ, and crash-related issues. This update was deployed at the end of December 2025 and applies to both Windows and macOS versions of the game.

🧠 Gameplay Update

SmartZoi Feature Rollback

The SmartZoi system has been rolled back to its October version to ensure stable gameplay.

According to the inZOI team, recent updates caused SmartZoi to behave unpredictably in certain situations. To prevent further disruption, the earlier and more stable version has been restored. Improvements to SmartZoi are still in development and will be reintroduced once fully stabilized.

  • Fixed a game freeze when opening the Schedule window under specific language settings

  • Fixed an issue where business operator names were displayed incorrectly

  • Fixed problems with autonomous actions not working properly in enclosed rooms or open lots

  • Fixed character overlapping during delivery conversations with supplier NPCs

  • Adjusted several sofa cooperative interactions so they no longer trigger autonomously:

    • Give Massage

    • Offer Lap Pillow

    • Put Arms Around Shoulders

    • Exchange Jokes

    • Show Affection

  • Fixed an issue where customers could not enter business lots in certain situations

🎨 CAZ (Create-A-Zoi)

  • Fixed an issue where the color wheel was disabled for some ModKit-created accessories

  • Fixed an issue where style presets containing 3D printers could be applied to child Zois

The development team also confirmed that additional CAZ-related issues are currently being investigated.

  • Fixed several crashes occurring under specific conditions, further improving game stability
