Samsung Display's Innovations in inZOI
Samsung Display's next-generation OLED products, which have amazed visitors at global exhibitions like CES and MWC, can now be experienced in Krafton's new simulation game, inZOI.
On July 29th, Samsung Display announced that thirteen types of innovative products, including multi-foldable, slidable, and rollable displays, as well as smart speakers, will be featured in Krafton's new game, inZOI.
Key Innovations Featured in inZOI:
- Flex S™: A screen that can be folded twice in an S-shape.
- Flex G™: A screen that can be folded twice inward.
- Rollable Flex™: A 12.4-inch rollable display.
- Slidable Flex Duet™: A 17.3-inch screen that can be expanded in both directions.
- Flex In&Out™: A display that can be folded both inward and outward.
- Flex Note™: A versatile display that can be used as a monitor or a laptop.
Additionally, concept products such as OLED headphones, circular OLEDs that can display weather information or function as mirrors, and smart speakers that can be used like tablets, will also appear in the game. These products, which received acclaim at MWC 2024, are integrated into everyday devices, demonstrating the potential of OLED technology.
A New World of Gaming with inZOI
InZOI, Krafton's new simulation game, allows players to become gods, creating and experiencing various life stories as they wish. With realistic graphics and high levels of character customization, the game has already garnered worldwide attention even before its release.
Krafton explained, "InZOI utilizes the latest Unreal Engine 5 to create immersive environments with lifelike graphics. By incorporating Samsung Display's real-world innovative products into the game, we achieved even more realistic game graphics."
A Unique Collaboration
Regarding the collaboration with Krafton, Lee Ho-jung, Head of Product Planning at Samsung Display's Small and Medium Business Division, stated, "This partnership provides an excellent opportunity to test how our innovative products, created with Samsung Display's unique technology, will be utilized and what value they will create in the future market through a simulation game."
Upcoming Exhibition at Gamescom 2024
Samsung Display will collaborate with Krafton to showcase the next-generation innovative products featured in inZOI at Gamescom 2024, to be held in Cologne, Germany, this August.
