The Beyond the Fundamentals 2026 Roadmap (Part 2) outlines inZOI’s long-term development direction, focusing on major feature expansions beyond core gameplay improvements. The roadmap is being developed by a dedicated internal team working in parallel with the main development team, ensuring continued progress on stability and core systems.

All initiatives described are currently in active R&D validation, meaning timelines and scope may evolve based on technical feasibility, testing results, and community feedback.

🔍 Development Overview

The roadmap highlights four major pillars under active research and development:

  • Advanced Modding Tools

  • Canvastown & the Fate Engine

  • Multiplayer & inZOI-online

  • AI NPC Systems (ongoing R&D)

These initiatives are designed to expand inZOI’s capabilities without reducing resources allocated to existing gameplay improvements.
