KRAFTON has officially released the inZOI v0.8.0 update, bringing a massive amount of new content and gameplay improvements. This patch introduces brand-new careers, freelance systems, businesses, social events, pregnancy features, Build Mode upgrades, optimization settings, and much more. 🎉

Several new careers are now available across all cities.

To start one of these careers, Zois must first apply for an interview and successfully impress the interviewer.

📋 Career System Changes

• School, careers, and businesses are now separated into independent categories.
• Zois can manage school, work, and a business at the same time as long as schedules don’t overlap.
• Schedule priority order:

  2. Career
  3. Business
• Zoi cards now display occupations more clearly.
• Salaries are now paid daily.
• Zois can apply for:
  • Paid leave
  • Sick leave
  • Remote work
• Companies may occasionally assign overtime or company-wide holidays.
• Vacation days depend on the Zoi’s position.

🤝 Team Projects

New team projects have been added to workplaces.

• Zois can collaborate with coworkers from day 1 to day 4 of a project.
• Progress can be tracked through:

• Final contribution levels determine rewards and evaluation scores.

Additional workplace interactions and after-work missions have also been added.

⚠️ Work Performance & Retirement

• Arriving late can mark your Zoi as tardy or absent.
• Poor performance may result in getting fired.
• Zois can now retire after spending enough time at a company.
• Retirement triggers a retirement party social event. 🎊
• Retired Zois become eligible for pension funds.
• Fired, retired, or resigned Zois receive severance pay.
• Older save files automatically sync with the new career system.

• Employee slots are displayed more clearly.
• Recommended and required objects are now easier to distinguish.

🚨 Crime Updates

• Minor crimes like stealing snacks or tips no longer require a crime skill level.
• Crime skill level 1 unlocks all criminal interactions.
• Crime skill level 5 unlocks criminal masks from suspicious job agencies.
• Wearing masks during crimes may cause witnesses to flee instead of calling the police.
