KRAFTON has officially confirmed that the next inZOI update is scheduled to launch on June 18, bringing a wide range of quality-of-life improvements, smarter baby behaviors, enhanced modding tools, and deeper interactions across the game's simulation systems.

Alongside the announcement, the developers shared another preview video showcasing features designed to make everyday life in inZOI feel even more natural and immersive.

📅 June 18 Update Officially Confirmed

After a slight delay in announcing the schedule, the development team confirmed that the next major update will arrive on June 18.

According to the developers, much of the recent work has focused on strengthening the core simulation rather than simply adding new features. Autonomous behaviors, personalities, memories, and relationships are being refined to interact more naturally, helping the world feel more believable and alive.

The team also revealed that internal restructuring is underway to dedicate more resources toward animation quality and life simulation depth.

👶 Babies Are Becoming More Lifelike

One of the biggest highlights of this week's preview is a major expansion of baby behaviors.

Rather than remaining passive, babies will now perform a variety of autonomous actions, including:

  • 🍼 Playing by themselves when left alone
  • 😴 Falling asleep at the dining table
  • 🥛 Throwing their milk bottle onto the floor
  • 💦 Having little accidents when they can't hold it anymore
  • 🧊 Grabbing and shaking the refrigerator until it eventually breaks

These additions are designed to make babies feel much more unpredictable and alive, adding personality to everyday family gameplay.

🛋️ Furniture Interactions Become More Natural

Several long-requested interaction improvements are also coming to inZOI.

Players will no longer need to stand up between multiple actions on the same piece of furniture. For example, a Zoi can now go directly to bed after playing guitar without awkward transitions.

Furniture usage has also become smarter:

  • 🪑 Sit or lie down from whichever side is closest
  • 💤 Transition naturally between activities
  • 🍽️ Place objects on tables while remaining seated

These changes significantly improve the flow of everyday interactions.

🔨 Crafting Without Restrictions

Crafting mechanics are receiving welcome flexibility improvements.

Players will now be able to craft on virtually any table, regardless of its type, and multiple Zois can work at the same table simultaneously.

This removes previous limitations and should make creative gameplay much smoother.

🛠️ MetaHuman Support & Better Mod Management

Mod creators are getting some exciting upgrades as well.

The new auto-update system will automatically detect failed mod updates and provide a retry button, making mod management much easier.

Even more importantly, MetaHuman body conversion is now supported, allowing creators to import entirely new body types into inZOI and dramatically expand customization possibilities.

For the growing modding community, this could become one of the most significant additions yet.

🎡 Plenty of Small Quality-of-Life Improvements

The update also introduces numerous smaller enhancements across the game world:

  • 🎠 Up to two Zois can now use the same swing set
  • ↩️ Dedicated U-turn functionality makes driving smoother
  • 🏥 Sick Zois can visit hospitals for treatment
  • 💺 Players can ask others to leave occupied seats
  • 👕 Pajamas now use the closest wardrobe instead of distant ones

While individually minor, together they help everyday gameplay feel far less frustrating.

📱 More Realistic Phone Calls & Canvas Statistics

Incoming calls are becoming more immersive.

Instead of appearing as a generic notification, phone calls will now display directly on the character's in-game smartphone.

Canvas creators will also appreciate another improvement: numerical statistics will no longer be shortened with "K" abbreviations, allowing exact values to be displayed for creations.

🌍 The Focus Is Now on Depth, Not Quantity

Beyond the individual features, KRAFTON emphasized that its current priority is making inZOI's simulation systems work together more organically.

Rather than rapidly introducing isolated mechanics, the developers are investing in deeper interactions between personalities, memories, relationships, and autonomous behaviors to create a world that feels genuinely alive.

This philosophy may ultimately have a bigger impact on gameplay than any single new feature.
