In the meantime, thanks to information on the Internet, I have found out how to solve the problem first. I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in. After that, the clicking immediately worked normally again. It's been a few days now and the problem has not recurred.

Clicking on buttons is suddenly hardly possible
I was able to play InZOI for a few hours without any problems.
But then it suddenly started. Since yesterday evening, I've had great difficulty clicking most of the buttons. Sometimes I have to click 10-15 times before it works. Most of the time, the button doesn't seem to get the focus when I click on it or loses it immediately. This has made the game practically unplayable.
I have tried the following: Game restart, PC restart, clear PSO cache, tried different graphics presets, windowed mode and full screen, 30 and 45fps max frame rate, changed occlusion method, reinstalled game. None of this has helped.
