Game Direction and Upcoming Content

Developer Kjun recently shared insights on what’s next for inZOI:

The team has been working on improving build stability, emotional expressions, and the Karma system—core features for a believable life simulation. Players have started noticing more natural conversations and emotional responses, but the developers acknowledge there’s still more to improve.

The May update will focus on introducing modding tools and better asset creation support with plug-ins for Blender and Maya. The goal is to provide a strong foundation by December for all major modding features.

Looking ahead, a third city is in development. To enhance immersion, new small vehicles like motorcycles and vehicle customization options are planned, though animations may need further refinement.

The Karma system will be expanded with crime mechanics, including the ability for characters (Zois) to be caught and sent to jail, leading to new gameplay events. This will help create a more connected and meaningful experience.

There is also growing community interest in inZOI’s use of AI technology. The developers plan to address this in a future announcement, promising transparency.

While the game is still evolving, the team is committed to turning inZOI into a rich and creative life simulator. They continue to listen closely to community feedback.
