The inZOI team is back with another development update, focusing on player feedback, new gameplay systems, and modding improvements. Following last week’s School Play preview, the developers continue refining features based on community suggestions.
This update introduces first-person gameplay, new careers, freelancer systems, and expanded modding tools — all aimed at making the game more immersive and flexible.
๐ฎ First-Person View (Early Implementation)
One of the most requested features is finally here — a basic first-person perspective.
The current version is described as simple and experimental, but it will be available in an upcoming update for players to test.
๐ฌ The team is actively asking for feedback to refine how it feels in real gameplay.
๐๏ธ Build Mode Improvements
A major quality-of-life upgrade is coming to Build Mode:
• Multi-item selection system
• Faster editing and object management
• Reduced repetitive actions
This feature should significantly improve workflow, especially for players who build large or complex environments.

The development team is expanding career gameplay with several new roles:

Players will also see expanded corporate job features, including:
• Job interviews & candidate scouting
• Vacation/leave management
• Workplace events (including retirement parties ๐)
• Even… bribing interviewers to increase hiring chances ๐
These additions aim to deepen the simulation of professional life.
๐ฆ Freelancer System & Creator Economy
A new freelancer system is in development, allowing players to:
• Publish their creations
• Receive rewards based on popularity/feedback
• Build a creator-driven progression loop
This ties directly into the broader vision of making inZOI a more player-driven experience.
๐งฉ MetaHuman Integration & Modding Support
Modding continues to be a major focus.
To lower the barrier for creators, the team is working on:
• MetaHuman-based character integration
• Importing custom MetaHuman appearances
• Converting existing assets into usable in-game models
๐ฏ Goal: make mod creation easier, faster, and more accessible — even for beginners.
๐ Everyday Interactions & QoL Updates
Several smaller but meaningful improvements have also been added:
• More interactable objects in the world
• Sitting by trees ๐ณ

These changes continue the push toward more natural, everyday life simulation.
